Robin Belfield

I'm a Bahamian British theatre director, writer and educator.

A graduate of the University of Bristol, I was awarded place on the Channel 4 Theatre Director Scheme (now the Regional Theatre Young Director Scheme) and was Associate Director at the Nuffield Theatre in Southampton. Some 20+ years later I have made work for many of UK's leading theatres and drama schools, as well as in my hometown of Nassau in The Bahamas.

Previous credits include work for: Shakespeare's Globe Theatre, The Royal Shakespeare Company, The Watermill Theatre (Newbury), The Nuffield Theatre, The Dukes Theatre (Lancaster), The Unicorn Theatre and Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama.

I am currently Associate Director at The Unicorn Theatre.
