After 5+ years at the Royal Shakespeare Company, it was time to move on to new challenges. I'm so proud of what I've achieved during my time with the RSC - not least directing a touring production of Twelfth Night and also building the RSC's 'Next Generation' national talent development programme.
Building on that experience and passion for developing talent and training young actors and performers, I'm delighted to have taken up a post as Principal Lecturer at the Institute for Contemporary Theatre in Brighton. This excellent organisation is in the process of re-evaluating the needs for training performers in the 21st Century and I'm really exciting to get in there and help them shape what this looks like.
Very exciting times ahead, as discussed by Thomasina Unsworth (ICTheatre Principal) in an article for The Stage this week - click here for the full article.
